Jason Tanner
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Jason joined Applied Frameworks in 2008. As CEO, he leads the company’s growth and consulting practice and teaches several of Applied Frameworks’ training programs as a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer.
Jason has led Agile transformations at several Fortune 500 companies, including MassMutual, Capital One, and CoStar Group. He also regularly leads engagements focused on product and portfolio management. Jason writes frequently on advanced product management and consulting topics for the company blog.
After studying engineering at Cornell, Jason served for nine years as a Marine Corps officer. He then went on to a career in telecommunications and software development as a project engineer and product manager. He commanded an infantry rifle company of over 100 Marines and directed operations for over 1,500 Marines. Jason began writing professionally and was published three times in the Marine Corps Gazette. Later Jason earned his MBA at Duke. As a Certified Scrum Trainer and Certified Scrum@Scale Trainer, Jason has coached thousands of Agile practitioners around the world.
