Kanban System Design (KSD) is a foundational Kanban workshop that provides you with the knowledge and tools you need to design and implement a Kanban system in your work and business context.
Also referred to as the Kanban Management Professional I (KMP I), this 3-session (14 hours total instruction time) workshop serves as the first step in achieving full certification as a Kanban Management Professional (KMP) with Kanban University.

Your Instructor: Kert Peterson

Kert Peterson is a Principal Consultant with Applied Frameworks, a management consulting firm that enables customers to develop and deliver great products. His passion is adult learning and organizational design that supports optimal learning and growth. Kert is a Certified Scrum Trainer and an Accredited Kanban Trainer®.
Kert began his career as a Software Engineer in NASA’s Space Shuttle program. These roots as a “maker” afford him practical insights into the daily challenges faced by testers, engineers, and other creatives working together to develop high-tech products and services. When Kert is not teaching, he likes to spend time playing mandolin and teaching tai chi.
